Meet the Team
Dr. Allison Weiffenbach
Dr. Allison Weiffenbach is a board-certified dermatologist with a strong academic and clinical background. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Boston College, followed by her medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Weiffenbach completed her internship and dermatology residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, where she also served as a Faculty Attending. She is an active member of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Emily Marlar
Emily joined Cortina Dermatology Group in 2024 as the Director of Practice Operations. She is a seasoned dermatology administrator with over eight years of experience managing a high-volume dermatology practice, specializing in enhanced patient experience, staff engagement, and billing and industry compliance.
Emily received her bachelor’s from Western Governors University. During her downtime, Emily enjoys watching Bravo and the Tennessee Vols, spending time with her feisty dog, Aerial and going to Orangetheory. Go Vols!
Jess Coale
Jess is a seasoned Licensed Aesthetician who brings over a decade of expertise from both Ayurvedic practices and Medical backgrounds. She was also an Esthetics Instructor in Ohio before moving to Nashville at the end of 2024 and is excited to share her passion for skincare with all of you.
Specializing in facial massage and lifting and sculpting techniques, Jess has been highly sought after for her hands and is proud to offer a well rounded approach to ensure your experience with her is fully customized and results driven. When she is not empowering others, you can find her photographing her favorite rock and metal bands along the rail at shows (she contributes to an online magazine), providing professional makeup for events, and traveling and exploring with her boyfriend.
